Which trees does the permission to fell concern?

Permission to fell trees and bushes according to the Act concerns trees and bushes growing outside of the forest. These are defined as trees and bushes growing alone or in groups in the open landscape and within settlement areas on lands which do not belong to the forest land fund (outside of areas which are designated as forest lands).

Woody plants are perennial plants with woody stems. Permission to fell concerns all species of woody plants and also relates to cultivated fruit trees and grape vines! Permission is also needed to fell dead and dry trees and bushes, and also to clear trees which are broken or uprooted! (They are not exempted from the law.)
