How long does the administrative process for permission to fell woody plants take?
For decisions on felling the deadlines set out in the valid legislation apply (Act No. 114/1992 Coll. and Act No. 500/2004 Coll.). For simple applications the state nature protection body will make a decision immediately. In other cases a decision must be made within 60 days from the beginning of the process and in especially complex cases a decision must be made within 90 days from the beginning of the process. According to current practice the time from the beginning of the process to the issuing of a decision is 30 – 45 days on average.
