A new harvestman. Harvestman Egaenus convexus is a new species for the Podyji National Park. It was found near Havraniky by entomologiststs from Olomouc during GreenCamp (www.greencamp.cz), a seminar for young naturalists. This is one of the largest Czech harvestmen (body length 10-13 mm). It is a warm-loving species occurring in thermophilous forests, dry grasslands and meadows. In the Czech Republic, it is a rare species known up to now only from Bile Karpaty Mts.
