Tourists could observe Lesser Spotted Woodpecker sitting on wildrose´s bushes and eating larvae of Rose Gall Wasp near Čížov at the beginning of the year. Even a good observer of the nature can see this bird of the size of sparrow only rarely. It is funny to watch this small bird striking with great commitment to tiny twigs of wildroses looking as greater bird striking into tree trunks.
